隨著越來越多的 Android Wear 產品推出，Google 亦表示會在本年底前為 Android Wear 系統加入一些新的功能。第一個新功能為「離線音樂播放」，能讓你的智能手錶直接透過藍牙耳機播放儲存於手錶內的音樂，無需要與智能手機作任何連接。另外，如果裝置支援 native GPS 的話，將可以紀錄用戶的速度及距離等，適合一眾單車族的朋友。

最後，Google 亦表示會在 Google Play 中推出為 Android Wear 而設的「downloadable watch faces」，就好像手機中的各類 Launcher 程式一樣。用戶可以透過下載新的介面主題去定制，並將裝置變得更個性化。各位 Android Wear 用戶要密切留意了。
