HTC在MWC2010發佈新手機Desire後，由於它與Nexus One都有相近的構造及規格。於是有Android ROM開發者嘗試將HTC Desire ROM移植在Nexus One上。經過測試後，大部份功能都運作正常，讀者可以在照片中可看到Sense UI已經運行在Nexus One上。
筆者在測試結果中發現了驚奇的事情，竟然Desire內置的瀏覽器已經安裝了Flash Player 10.1，並且運作正常。再次証實到Flash Player 10.1正式推出的日子很快來臨。
由於Desire ROM上存有水印，開發者暫時不能在網絡上發佈，想測試的朋友可能要等等了。想知更多可以跳轉看Desire ROM的測試結果。
Desire ROM的測試結果:
- 軌跡球 運作正常
- 4粒實體功能鍵 運作正常
- 距離探測器 運作正常
- LED燈 運作正常
- 光線感應器 運作正常
- 指南針及三軸重力感測儀 運作正常
- 相機及、面部識別及觸控對焦 運作正常
- FM收音機 不能運行(可能需要內置Desire 收音機 ROM)
- WiFi、藍牙 運作正常
- 內置 FLASH 10.1，並且運作正常
- Nexus One運作流暢
- 可以錄製800×480影片，但只有300萬像素
英文版本:
- The trackball works.
